I have been very interested to use MACD, especiallyt the MACD-2-Color, which produces 2 lines and a histogram. What is unique about 3MACD is that you seems to have 2 lines as if it represent a faster and slower macd line. I may be wrong, but frankly, this is the sort of an indicator which I had in mind.
